The Niagara Falls International Marathon is an annual marathon running competition from Buffalo, New York, United States to Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, first held in 1974. It is one of the few marathons in the world that starts in one country and finishes in another.

This annual run gives participants the unique opportunity to start and finish in different countries. The marathon route starts in the USA, crosses the Peace River Bridge, and finishes in Canada at the base of Niagara falls.
There are multiple distance options available on the day. Runners who don’t want to go for a full 42.2km can run one of the half marathon, 10k, or 5k races. The marathon is the only event that crosses international borders, but, all of the races finish right by the falls!
Marathon, Half Marathon, 5k, 10k – From USA to Canada, everyone finishes at the brink of the falls! The Niagara Falls International Marathon is AIMS and IAAF Certified and the marathon course is Boston certified/qualifier.
Point to point course starting at Albright Knox Art Gallery in Buffalo, NY crossing over the Peace Bridge into Fort Erie, ON all runners finish right at the brink of the Falls!
No strollers or walkers allowed. Minimum age requirement to race is 18. Mandatory race kit pickup/Customs Clearance at the Expo. For more information and to register please visit the Marathon website.
